I was looking for a decent exercise/spin bike but didn't want to commit to spending a fortune. Stumbled upon this one selling through RCSS Marketplace for $179.99 and it's part of the 20,000 PC Optimum™ Points Event with free shipping. You can also get 2% cash back from Rakuten.

4+ stars reviews

It currently goes for $229.99 on Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart website. It's sold and fulfilled by Aosom Canada which oddly enough is selling for $239.99.

Do I care?
Is this good enough for light workout? Mom needs something basic during winter months.

I am aware what's out there in mid to higher end - I just need something basic this time.

My other choice in similar price range would be this folding one at costco

I think the one you listed is a good choice too but it really depends on the end goal. I was looking for a more intense workout so I picked up the stationery bike with a heavier flywheel so that I can follow along with spin videos. If your mom is just looking for a lighter workout, this foldable one should do the trick. It may be better for her if she wants to watch TV or read a book while cycling with that back rest. Also less impact on the joints I think because of the lighter flywheel. (Not an expert so may not be accurate)

There was another RFD post last year selling the FB360 for $159.99. Maybe take a look at the comments. Something about a clicking sound with 360.

The RCSS Marketplace also has two Soozier folding bikes that are part of the 20,000 bonus points promo:
Soozier 2 in 1 Upright Exercise Bike Stationary Foldable Magnetic Recumbent Cycling with Arm Resistance Bands Blue
$164.99 with 20,000 bonus points so comes to $144.99

Soozier Folding Exercise Bike 8-Level Resistance X-Frame Stationary Upright Bike Cardio Fitness Workout Trainer with LCD and Pulse Monitor Black
$129.99 with 20,000 bonus points so comes to $109.99

This model, which I believe is a newer version, is also on sale for $20 more. Besides the aesthetics, I'm not sure what other differences there are, so maybe someone who is more knowledgeable on this can let me know if it's worth to spend the extra $20 on this model.
