[Real Canadian Superstore] Nintendo Switch with Super Mario U Deluxe $399.99 plus $50 PC Gift Card, Vitamins and 90k points

Hey Folks,

Superstore has a Nintendo Switch Bundle with Super Mario U Deluxe for $399.99 plus tax on Boxing Day.... but there’s more.

You will get a $50 PC gift card with purchase.

You will get a $25 pack of Jameson Vitamins for spending more than $225 (National Offer in flyer).

And lastly.... the offer in the below picture for bonus points is easily obtainable through cycling offers (this can be done by joining and leaving a household). Within a few minutes you should be able to obtain the offer.

Depending on your province, you may have to buy a pack of gum or something to ensure your total bill is over $450. The below total store offer includes tax, unlike SDM offers.

So the math.... approximately $450 for the switch
Minus $50 PC gift card
Minus 90k in points with the offer

$310 (aggregate) for the switch PLUS a premium game and you get some Vitamins to kick off the new year.

FYI this is likely bundled with the older Switch model (HAC-001) with a weaker battery than the current one (HAC-001(-01)).

July 13, 2017 to October 25, 2018: BOC raised rates 5 times and MCAP raised its prime rate next day each time.

2020: BOC dropped rates 3 times and MCAP waited and waited to drop its prime rate to include all 3 drops.

Well I guess now I know cycling offers is a thing, this is exciting. Thanks OP.

I would’ve bought a switch at shoppers with 240,000 pc points last week though if I was ready for one.

I have never seen that “total store” offer in my account before (ever). Not sure if cycling offers would ever get it to appear - may be more YMMV than you think.

Definitely easy to duplicate and not YMMV. Anyone who cycles offers I guarantee has seen in dozens of times. One of the most common offers to see when you leave a household.

Is it possible it only gives it to you in certain regions? I have tried all the “tricks” before and haven’t seen it.

I live in the prairies. Only 2 of the 11 stores on that list operate here. It could be region locked but I imagine you have 2 or more of those stores in your province ?

I dunno, you could be on to something. You’re where?

Alberta. Maybe I am either a) doing it wrong or b) unlucky.

Anyway, didn’t mean to insult your thread or anything. It’s a well explained post and a pretty good deal either way.

Exactly, I cycle to get to get this one every week before groceries, best offer IMO. Never seen the 10k for every $30 that has been mentioned before though

Oh the joys of the Colleague Card! Just got mine last week (right before Christmas, PERFECT TIMING!) and I've already saved almost $30 spending nowhere near that much! Thanks to coupons and meat price matching!

VU for a very nice detailed post. I've a switch and not hence not going to do this.

But I'm interested in cycling the offers. Need to buy a game for switch. Should i create a brand new optimum account and then combine with my current account?

isn't it 80k points? you don't earn points on tax.

another way of looking at it is to compare with the shoppers mega redemption. at superstore though, you can earn points when redeeming.

shoppers: redeem 250k for $400, pay $52 tax out of pocket, earn 0 points.
superstore: redeem 250k for $250, pay $202 out of pocket, earn 80k points and a $50 GC. total cost about $202-80-50=$92.
