Looks like the general consensus for the gradings of cut are mostly A to AA across the board. …where did all the AAA go?

Beef is graded as an entire carcass with a great deal of variation from cut to cut
These are advertised as AA, which is pretty consistent with what I've seen in the thread so far. There hasn't been AAA at this price for a few years now

Anyone gone to RCSS in Dufferin/Steels, or Don Mills (/Eglinton) today?
Wonder if they have good stock for me to take a trip out this afternoon. (With the snow storm yesterday, to this morning, few people would've gone out to buy)

Nothing at Dufferin/Steeles. When I got there at 4pm, the bin (where there's a sign for the roast special) is not only empty, the rack is taken out and the bottom of the freezer pipe/wires are shown, dry. They are also washing everything in the meat counter area.

99.9% of you wouldn’t be able to taste the difference between AA and AAA. Just buy what looks decent without too much hard fat and call it a day.

Was at the North Oakville store a couple hours ago, still had a decent number left (15?), no further discount and they looked pretty bad (bit greyish, big holes in the packaging, bad marbling).

I can feel the butcher's finger slipping towards the sharpie for some additional discounts. They can't hold out much longer IMO.plymouthhater wrote: ↑ Loblaws at Bayview and Hi Tech in Richmond Hill ON has a bunker full (still at the sale price) + they have full Cryovac primals of prime rib (in a different bunker) at the sale price.

I am in the market for this as well.
If any are spotted anywhere, chime in!
Last Easter, I snagged 3 from Costco, with $20 off per bird.
Brined and butchered all 3, split dark from white, cooked sous vide, then froze.
Very much enjoyed through the following months.
Feeling very empty handed (and empty freezered)
