They also have blade roast on sale for 3.98/pound, which is great for pot roast. I can't imagine making it as pictured on the flyer though, would be super tough I would think.

I've had a problem lately where stores advertise "Russet and White" end up only stocking white. Is there a Russet shortage going on?

That being said I'll drop by RCSS on the way home today and grab a bag of these if they have them, great french fry fodder! Thanks OP.

If you stop today (Jan 29) you will pay the regular price ($5.49) as the sale starts tomorrow.

With pot roasts, I always promise myself that I won't pressure cook it until I can pull it apart, slather it in BBQ sauce and make it into pulled beef sandwich filling and/or tacos.

Then there's a blank spot in my memory and I wake up to a pulled beef sandwich. Every time.

I've gone from the pressure cooker back to the dutch oven for it mainly for that reason. I only use the PC when I for sure want it shredded.

Same price at Food Basics (.97 for a 5lb bag of Russets). Cheaper in fact. And no need to buy 10lbs if you need less.
