[Real Canadian Superstore] RCSS AA Brisket $3.99 per lb. Feb 2-8

I believe this is an Ontario deal. Just saw this while browsing around flyers.

I bought this from RCSS once last year. It turned out decent. I think it’s a good price.

again... Ontario seems to get better deals on Alberta beef than Albertans for some reason.

Just an fyi, I find AA brisket from both SuperStore and Co-op to be better and juicier than AAA from Costco for whatever reason..

can only speak to the west when we have this deal or similar

Superstore - Thicker fat pad, tastes great w/ decent marbling
Costco - Thinner fat pad, but a bit less marbling

Both are great IMO. Only way I'd buy this in today's inflationary economy.

I thought I was the only one.

I swear the last 2 Costco briskets I bought sucked!

Definitly not just you haha, I bought one and so did a buddy of mine. Never going back. Even though it was marked as AAA, it didn't look like it had nearly the marbling of a Co-op one

I was in Calgary in the fall. I thought the beef prices were actually pretty awesome. No need to wait for sales and stuff like that like us in the GTA.

You want to talk expensive…. BC is nuts. We crossed into Golden, BC. Groceries there were like on the moon expensive

Really? Good to know! Is it just because cars in general are more expensive there?
