[Real Canadian Superstore] Super Hot pamper diapers 78 count for under 5 dollars (with points) West Stores Only

Spend $100 get 20000 points + 5000 points per box, plus 2000 points for every $10 spent on Pampers. In-store deal. Must price match Safeyway for 19.99 pic included for PM. There are coupons in-store for 10 bucks off for 2 boxes. More savings if you are a PC insider.

I first mis-read this as “super hot pamper diapers”. It popped up on my screen as I was having runny eggs on toast. 🤢

Not sure I understand where all the points come from. In store offers is 5000 per box, which is the 30000 points. Then 20000 points for the $100 spend. What is the 24000 points you received?

@OneAndTrueHeir Assume OP is pc insider.

This a West Coast deal, for East Coast PM Sobeys. (assuming they're the same count)

5000/box does not apply to all variety right? Only select boxes.

And it looks like the 20000 points applied to pre-coupon price, I always think it’s based on the total $ after coupon....good thing to know

Thanks op! 75000 points on 6 boxes plus price match. Now I'm good for several months of poop!

I didn't have PC insider, but they have a 1 month free trial that I just signed up for in store.

I'm guessing a PC Optimum offer. PC Insiders would give you the same 24000 points, but I think it's usually labelled as "PC Insiders". I tossed my receipt already (I got the same deal) with my PC Insiders but I think it'll show up as PC Insiders.

I see on your receipt
5k x 6 boxes, 30k
20k for over $100
24k?
Where is "plus 30000 In-store deal"?
Or you meant to say 24k?

I think he meant to say -$30 coupons in store rather than points.

To summarize what op said:
Price match the second largest Pampers size Safeway/Sobeys at 19.99/Box - it has to be pampers.
Use Buy 2 get $10 off pampers coupons.
For 6 Boxes, you’ll get 30,000 (5,000 per box as an in store bonus for these pampers.
You’ll also get 20,000 back for spending $100 on baby products (calculated before coupons).
You’ll get 24,600 points back if you’re a PC Insider.

In total for Alberta you’ll pay $95.94 and get $74.60 back in points. It makes each box $3.56 if I did my math right.

A few notes:
West only
The points will appear instantly - all of them. They’ll be on the cashier screen and on your receipt.
It makes no difference if you swipe for points before or after the coupons, you’ll still get the 20K for baby products.
The 20K for baby products is for $100 spend but NOT for each $100 spent, so to optimize you’ll have to do this in multiple transactions rather than just buying 18 boxes at once.
Ymmv on getting $10 off 2 box coupons - they do have a new supply that expire Aug 30.
Ymmv on being PCInsider obviously. Might as well join as this offer can pay for your membership.
Overall though not a hard deal to replicate - went to two different superstores and had no issue with this.

No, I believe his 30000 is 5000x6 boxes on select varieties. On the flyer there’s only 4 types that are qualified and those do not include Swaddlers, which I purchased the most for my son.

Swaddlers are included in the 5000 back per box. If you read the fine print under the picture on the flyer it’ll say “selected varieties.”

I got 5000 back on swaddlers and cruisers. Both of them had +5000 points right on the price tag. If you didn’t get them you should go back, check the price tags and have customer service adjust for you.
