[Real Canadian Superstore] Western Canada - Whole Beef Tenderloin $8.98/lb with 15K Optimum Points

BC only on Friday and Saturday.
Whole beef tenderloin at $8.98 per pound with 15K Optimum Points.

Does anyone know how heavy these typically run? Debating this and the prime rib with Walmart.

EDIT: Seems like Western Canada

They Range in price from ~$75 - $115 when they're typically at $9.99/lbs ... This is a great deal !!!

Since these are CRYOVACed, would a FRESH BEEF 20% back in PC points apply to this? Would make it smoking HOT !!!

Yes the points should apply. I bought them before at $9 and got points but without the 15k since that wasn’t part of the promo last time. 10k per $50 also stacks with beef if you have that coupon (basically upto 40% return). Of course YMMV with app coupons.

Tenderloin vs Prime Rib

Ask any chef.... tenderloin no flavor at all vs Prime Rib

Prime Rib is KING for flavor and the majority of Chefs dislike over priced tenderloin (filet mignon) cuts

In the west... we just send our equalization payments back east and they offer us tasteless beef cuts in return LOL :P

That's a debate?

@notyou21 nailed it hands down.

Oh wait. I don't want people buying up all the prime rib.

Tenderloin all the way!

$19.80/kg for AAA tenderloin is a fantastic price. I but a few of these, and slice them up into steaks, and use the foodsaver to freeze them.

Throw in $15 in points for a whole $100 tenderloin, and the price goes down to $17/kg or $7.72/lbs!

BTW - its not a targeted PCPoints offer - its open to anyone that has a PC Optimum card.

Yup. I chose a small piece priced just a bit under $60. Got15,000 points plus 12,200 points for fresh beef. After all the points that's around $33 for 3kg. I went there this morning without knowing so it was a nice surprise. Gonna make filet mignon tomorrow.

Would like to order this for ISPU but not seeing the flyer price online or in the PC express app, anyone else? I'll take tenderloin over rib any day, prime rib is nasty.

I’ve been saving my 200 points for every $1 spent on fresh beef for almost a year now hoping one day the prime rib will return Disappointed Face
