[Real Canadian Superstore] (YMMV) Energizer AAA4 $1.88 (80% off?) at Superstore (YMMV)

New to RFD and first post.
I was at RCSS (Oakville location) this afternoon and run across Energizer Max AAA4 on sale at $1.88 (save 7.10). Please see picture. I purchased four packs, and they are located on the check out aisles with cashiers. So, is this a HOT deal? It may vary by store though.

$0.47/battery for standard AAA alkaline is actually very expensive - they are $0.28/ea every day of the week on Amazon (in pack of 100) and I believe Costco has them for similar pricing. If you wait for Amazon's sales they are $0.21/ea. If you go through a lot of standard AAA's you can do much better price-wise and don't even have to leave your home. if you just need a few, then it doesn't matter either way.

Some Walmart’s still have the 8.97 price on their energizer displays (scans at over $12). SCOP that shit and get some free batteries

Got the joke, but it'd be the most expensive power you've ever purchased in your life haha

Was hot when bestbuy price matched with 10% of the difference.
Stay strong, situation always looks harder and that it will never end when you are in the middle of it, but remember past experiences, everything has an ending.

Kirkland batteries are even cheaper. Due to user reviews, they are same or even better then the good brands. They are said made by Duracell actually.
