Recliner sectional sofa leather

Hi,
I have to buy Recliner sectional sofa leather for regular use. I think Recliner sofa is good to enjoy TV/Movie and fee comfortable. I have some question before buying:
--Should I go with leather OR Fabric?
--Can expect any Recliner mechanism issue even using it gently? Is it common or rare issue?
--Where should I buy from?
--Should I take the extended/Accidental warranty because this will used daily?

Just thinking before buying if Recliner sofa has not much issue if using daily.

Thanks,

Fabric is easier to care for, may also cost less to buy, all while still looking very nice in the home.
Be careful with warrantees. Read carefully to see what is and is not covered.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Take a look on Costco’s website, but I prefer leather. It’s recommended to treat it once a year and wipe down with a rag and warm water every so often.

Normally, some are better than likely others. There are manual and motorized ones.

Leather vs fabric comes down to personal taste. Leather looks more premium most of the times and is easier to maintain, but personally I find fabric more comfortable.

Hi

When my kids were in Jr High I bought a Laz-Boy fabric sectional for my rec room. They are now both out of University for 3-4 years and the sectional is still going strong. It had a ton of use over the years. The beauty about the -Laz Boy was i could add pieces to it to make it better.
We also have a leather Laz-Boy recliner couch and love seat in the living room.Very solid and comfortable.

The Laz Boy brand is more expensive but in my opinion well worth it.

I personally have no positive experience with Laz-Boy and I would not recommend anyone to purchase from them. I bought a fabric recliner last month but found out there are glue stains on the seats. Contacted the CS and requested to exchange, and they tried to exchange twice - however the new units they brought for exchange also have the glue stains on the seats. Guess what the CS told me, they do not usually arrange exchange but only did this for me "as a courtesy" and normally they will only send cleaning crew to come to my house to clean the stains. Another CS also blamed the manufacture and said this issue "did not happen in their facility" and "come straight from the manufacturer" , so does this absolve your responsibility as the seller then?

Now I am waiting for another exchange, which will happen next weekend, I think they should be able to bring a clean unit eventually but with this exhausting experiences, I would definitely not purchase anything from them ever again.

First, I'd personally go for leather. Real leather, not bonded leather if you can afford. Easier to maintain over time and easier to clean than fabric, that's what we have and will last longer than fabric. There is quality and although Costco have nice quality furnitures I like to sit and try before buying. Comfort is really a personnal thing. I would avoir lower quality El Ran recliners.

I bought a set from Costco 2 years ago when it was on sale. It was top grain power recliner. Using it every day and I have no issues so far. These things are heavy and white glove delivery really helped.

My IMG Norway recliner set is going on strong, super solid but not exactly cheap. Cushions and leather still are like new after 3 years.

I was looking at elran recliner at Austen Taylor furniture store. It was expensive and I thought was good quality. Is it a brand to avoid

I don't know Austen Taylor furniture store, but I can say avoid El Ran, by personnal experience. I have a Via sectionnal for 10 years and still going strong, all leather. It's in another price range, but worth it. If you are the kind of person who likes to paint and change furnitures every now and then, then El Ran may be good. If you keep your stuff for long time avoid it

A elran couch with auto recline was 4800 their. I guess that’s not high end enough apparently.

Where did find this via couch?
