Recommendation for affordable gaming laptop

Title says it all. I am not looking to do some high end gaming like modern warfare etc. Just simple CS:GO/Desperadoes III etc.

My max budget would be $1200

It's been a while since i am out of touch with gaming/gfx card updates. What GFX card should i look for in laptop. What should be the "minimum"? I think for type of gaming i am looking for, it doesn't matter if i am going to nvidia or radeon. any thoughts?

Costco one is just good pricing for gtx1660ti. You can order it without Costco membership. I haven't seen any at their warehouse.

However, if you can wait for something better like rtx2060, you can get one for similar price. I have the y540 i7 rtx2060 last bf sale from Lenovo. Lenovo tends to have their sales every other month imo.

Your min config should be i5/8/512SSD/1660. Or AMD R5/8/512/1660. Preferable to get 16Gb. Plenty of configs at around $1200. .

This one should be very good for your price. https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/as ... i/14584169
