Recommendations for Hepa air purifiers which that also filters smoke odours?

We're looking for something just for the bedroom. We saw one at Costco (in-store) but there are no reviews of it and it's not available at Costco Online. We previously had the Bionaire https://www.costco.ca/bionaire-air-puri ... 29758.html and weren't satisfied with it.

Nothing will completely filter out smoke. Only solution is to smoke outdoors.
If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Thanks. I used smoke as a reference.

Filtering out smoke is often used as a reference on how well they improve the air quality. We're mostly concerned about cooking odours. We've had ones with a charcoal filter and they didn't do much.

Install a cooktop fan to blow the odours outside.

Thanks for the suggestion. But that's not what we're looking for.

You didn't post your room size. Or if you're looking to filter the house.

I installed an HRV, electronic air cleaner and a bypass style whole home HEPA.
Air has never been better at home.
TCO is lower than room sized HEPAs too.

I hear ya, but it's far easier and cheaper to fix the problem at the source rather than bandaid the symptoms.

Odors and smoke are just a few of the many reasons we're need a replacement. The better HEPA (best) air purifiers filter out other pollutants and allergins, such as particulate pollution, VOCs, dust, mold spores, germs, dust mites and pet dander. We're looking for one for the bedroom.
