Redeemed promotional PC points but need to return items

Received 15,000 PC points added to my account from a promotion at Shoppers where you spend $60 and get the above amount (spent $62 in total).

Couple days later I redeemed $20 worth of PC points at SuperValu (20000 points) on groceries. My current points total is now 200.

I need to return some of the items I purchased at Shoppers drug Mart, will this break the promotional points that I earned but have already spent? Will this affect Shoppers giving me back my money on the items I'm returning unopened? Will my PC points balance go into the negatives?

I think you go into the negatives.

Yes and your account will go into negative as a result. It’s possible your account gets flagged as well if it goes into negative but as long as you aren’t abusing their system, it’s really not something to be concerned about.

Lol it's fine.

You aren't a full time returner, it will be fine.
You'll likely get a return on a gift card for a value that wasn't paid by you (your points paid).
