remove concrete slabs

i have 16 concrete slabs in my backyard 24 in. x 24 in. x 2 which probably has been there for >10 years. how do i move them. they hardly budge.
my wife wants them out as she wants to garden in that area

If you're not reusing them, breaking them up with a sledge hammer into more manageable pieces will make prying them up easier. If they're really stuck you can get long handled pry tools at Canadian tire or Princess auto for cheap usually.

I wouldn't break them, lift them up with a bar/pole, and then post then up on Kijiji. People will take them for a shed or hottub base.

They already are in nice manageable uniform pieces, 2'x2'x2".
Moving patio stones is hardy complicated.
Breaking them up is just going to create a bunch of chips that are more of a PITA.

Somebody will probably want intact ones too.
Even if you offer them free, it's better than dealing with disposal.
