Removing paint from brickwork

I am rebuilding my front porch. The house is brick veneer. The previous owner has painted some woodwork that was attached to the old porch. The wood has since been removed.

At some point the previous owner painted the woodwork, and left a lot of paint marks on the brick.

Any suggestions for removing the paint with out ruining the look of the brick?

A wire brush or wheel might work. I suppose paint remover could also work, but I'm not sure if safe for the bricks. Either way, there will likely be an unweathered portion of brick left, which should go away in time. Power washing all of the bricks after may even it out.

I second trying a pressure washer, but you have to be careful. It can take the grout out so focus the water jet on the bricks and avoid going over grout lines.
