Removing a shaw cable line on my property

We have a new house in a new subdivision. A month ago I contacted shaw to come install internet services and the first tech came out, discovered there was no line in the conduit into the house and explained this to me. He left a note in his system for someone else to come install that line. I called shaw to explain what happened and rebook. This happened a total of 2 more times over the next 2 weeks, each time with the same tech showing up and saying WTF I can't do anything, why didn't they send the other guy?

Finally yesterday I had it when he showed up again, called shaw and yelled at them to cancel everything and booked telus to come do the fiber optic. Then in the evening a shaw tech comes unannounced, runs a temporary line into my back yard that is still getting graded by the builder where there is a bobcat and piles of dirt sitting, across 2 other lots that are going to have foundations digging in the near future to a box about 500m away.

I have called them repeatedly all afternoon and gotten passed around to different departments and hung up on while on hold. Are there any legal repercussions from me physically disconnecting this line and leaving it coiled around the box?

I have 4 cut cable lines under my lawn. Nobody will care if you cut yours out. Future owner will just have to get them to run a new cable if they want it, but why would you want cable when you have access to fibre?

Yeah I would say go with it. As you said it is a temporary line which the tech pulled. So they would have to lay down proper lines anyway whenever they cover the whole street.

it's just a courtesy at this point, there is no way this line is going to be around in a month, if I don't unhook it then equipment will cross it and destroy it.
