I ordered from them on SkipTheDishes from the Toronto Carlson Street location before. The sandwich was alright... not memorable. But the chicken strips and wings (dry lemon pepper) were really good. If you put in a certain hashtag in the comments on your next order, that location gives you a free random item. I’ve had their root beer and cream soda for free and it surprisingly tasted really good too

Chicken sandwhich costs them 1 dollar to make... you're giving them so much more business by spending 20 dollars than the reward is worth.

With all due respect I don't think you know what you're talking about. The overhead alone is more than a $1.

Saw Renegade Chicken pop up, but didn't initially realize it was a part of Jack Astor's. They don't really make the connection obvious.

The chicken sandwich itself is alright, but way too small. It's not even a round sandwich! They are offering a "Nashville hot sandwich", but it simply doesn't compare because of how small it is. Nashville hot chicken sandwiches from the established players in the GTA are much bigger. Look up Chen Chen's or Chica's for the real deal.

I probably wouldn't get food from Renegade Chicken again. Fried chicken sandwiches in Toronto are popular now, and these guys just don't hold up.
Deal with it.

Sounds like you know very little about restaurant operating costs. This might help.
