Check out 88 Corporate drive and 68 corporate drive in Scarborough... You can potentially break even and great buildings and can get tenants almost instantly. Buildings run by Del management (Tridel).

Let us know as well the numbers/research once you have done it.

Better buy one soon, otherwise you might find it get even more unaffordable over the next few years...

If its cashflow negative, maybe you can get a second job....

Are you basing this on the proximity to Scarborough Town Center? It looks like a 2 bedroom rents for about $2700/month but this is just based on a kijiji ad from a month ago.

Close proximity to STC, TTC and well run buildings. Check the past rentals on housesigma so you can get an idea of what they are being rented for. Let us know.

GTA included includes Ajax. Plenty of wartime bungalows along 401 selling in the high 300s. Can be rented for about 1600-1800. Tax is about $200 a month, insurance about $80.

Be careful of "lodging house" restrictions; example in Windsor renting (legally) to more than 4 students/tenants requires difficult licensing especially after a recent fire where a student died
