Is there any kind of Decent PoE camera's that have that Starlight Sensor a few cheap Camera's have or should I say a BETTER version of said sensors?

I love the Idea of what Wyze has for the V3... Now give me a PoE + 4K of that and I be really happy.

Is the zoom manual or motorized? I assume manual at this price?

Also it's strange that only a single 820A is on sale. If I wanted to buy 8 x 820A then I will have to buy the single ones 8 times to bring the price to $842.32 whereas a 2 pack of 4 (total 8) has no discount and the price is $93.60 more.

Any recommendation for 32 channel NVR that would be compatible with these newer cameras?

Our building has 28 poor quality cameras (a mix of analog 480/720 cameras, and very few 1080 IP cameras) connected to Hanwha Techwin NVR, which I hate their software so much. I got quoted $450 / camera for their 4mp IP cameras, and I'm fed up with this brand.

It is a very good free app, l have made donation to them.

Since you have a mixed bag of cameras, you probably go for the software NVR like Blue Iris.

Should I just buy/test drive one bullet cam loke 510 etc with PoE and use the app on phone.

510 or 520 doesn't have wide angle. It is fine for indoor, but not very useful for outdoor surveillant.

When i first got my 510s (which i bought for person detection) i felt the same way - was livid - and motion zones didnt work. BUT..i contacted support about zones and they sent a link to a different firmware, and since then its been pretty good. The low light performance isnt great, but my particular areas are lit by outside lights. The 510 cost me about 200 for 3 cameras, so im pretty happy with that, all considered.

Check out ubiquiti. The gen 2+ cloud key ($240) will support 50+ cameras, upgradable to 5tb HDD ($250). Cameras range from $180-560. No monthly fees.

My issue is less with zones and more with false alerts. I can have a bug or a shadow move and create repetitive alerts whereas a person could walk up my driveway and possibly not trigger it. I've found no balance with sensitivity, either it's insensitive with no alerts or overly sensitive with way too many.

I'll take a look at the firmware and see if there's a new version. thanks

When I checked for firmware updates it said I had the latest - but support send me something that worked perfectly. I don’t think I’ve had false alerts actually. Really good with motion or car or people alerts (in the sense it distinguishes which it is).

At night the fps gets cut in half to 12fps and the ir lights get activated, image is black and white. Car and people detection is good but you need to dial in the sensitivity. I don't use any notifications.
I can only compare the image quality to my previous nvr's, 1440p qsee and 4k swann and its better than both especially for the price, it was $980 for eight rlc-810a camera's and a 3tb 16ch nvr on amazon.
