Repairing torn shoe mesh / Nike Flyknit materials?? Is it worth it??

Looking at videos, it appears to be cheap, fast, and easy. I have a pair of Kobe XI basketball shoes I want to repair and maybe resell for higher value if this can really be done well and professionally. Has anyone had experience repairing torn shoe mesh / Nike Flyknit materials?? Any recommendations or good places to check out?
