Replacing 1 Wheel

Basically need to replace 1 wheel.
Setup is 18x9+40 square.
Every shop only carries 18x9.5+40 is this going to be an issue? If I get the same tire would the difference just be more stretch or will the car not drive as straight/need alignment and no tire rotations?

Sell your 3 rims and buy 4 new because you can't find correct size. As you said, one corner might affect the alignment when you need one done and it will be like 1lb heavier.

That's what I would do as well. Although it can be a challenge to find a buyer for 3 wheels, but there is always a buyer for anything if price is right.
