Returning iPad bought online to an Apple Store?

I bought the iPad 3 with the preorders. I used the iPad a few times and decided that I should just not sell my iPad 2 and keep it. I really don't think its worth spending all that money with the minor upgrades. The Retina screen is ok.

There are no scratches on the iPad 3, I put that protective layer back and didn't throw anything out like the USB Cable plastic wrap, manuals, etc.

I was wondering will Apple take this back? Also can I just bring it to a store instead of shipping it back?

I tried to return brand new unopened iPhone 4S (bought online) to store (Waterloo) 1~2 months ago, wouldn't work
ended up selling on RFD at cost instead

mobile phones fall under more strict return policies. I believe its like 14 days and you can't talk more than like 15 minutes.

Shouldn't be a problem returning the ipad though

you have to return it by shipping the item back. you can get a free return label if you call them (there's a number that you call when you log into your account and initiate a return).

you cannot (yet) return it in store in Canada. the stores aren't set up to return online orders yet.

i had to go through this a few days ago and just shipped back the iPad. my refund showed up today in the morning on my visa (sent back Wednesday)

Apple refunds Apple purchased iPhones within 14 days. If the phone is purchased from a carrier, they have different restrictions, typically time (3-14 days) and usage (15mins) based.
