This is cheaper (or same price when it's on sale) than Costco's Kaizen protein. It's the best tasting protein I've tasted thus far. Expiry date is usually 3 years from purchase so you can buy several to get the free shipping (min orders of 99$ to get free shipping).

As most pointed out, the bulk protein is a better deal if you wish to go that route. 25lbs for 175.99$ = $30.98 for 2KG. So in comparison, 25lbs / 2kg(4.4lbs) = 5.7 so 38.49$ X 5.7 = 219.39$ vs the bulk 175.99$ a diff of 43.40$, basically it's like getting 1 free 2KG pack.

Edit: 25lbs now at $149.99

This is a Canadian based company, they sell some products on Costco once in a while.

“WPI90.” Not pure isolate—why do they need to add in lactase otherwise? Might be subbing in cheaper non-essential amino acids to spike the protein content too, but I’m not sure. Seems like a lesser product than Kaizen for someone looking for clean protein.

Dunno if Kaizen is cleaner but one thing from my experience, I always get bloated after drinking the Kaizen, not after drinking this one. But might just be me...

Unless you are lactose intolerant, just take whatever is cheapest, you wont see any difference.

I get my protein for free, and I still use blend of isolate/concentrate, no problem there.

Since it’s an isolate, it wouldn’t be a great existence Face With Tears Of Joy

Too bad only free shipping over $99. I don't want to order three tubs and take a risk with a new brand.

My wife says it's less heavy and less sweet than Kaizen, but she likes both, just wanted to add her input...

The bulk isolate seems like the real steal @ $175.99 for 25 lbs.

25lbs = 5.68 2kg jugs
$175.99 / 5.68 = $30.98 per 2kg jug equivalent
  • Almost certainly the same protein as the jug pure isolate (as pointed out by @karlb )
  • The bulk isolate is available in chocolate whereas the jug pure isolate is only vanilla
  • The bulk isolate has a much less wasteful scoop size (33g w/ 28g protein) vs (42g w/ 35g protein)--since protein above ~20-25g/serving is mostly wasted (gets oxidized and excreted in urine)
Damn. I'm going to have to pull the trigger on the 25lbs bulk box. Hope this stuff tastes okay and mixes well.

EDIT:
Removed the following differences which are likely just rounding errors:
  • The bulk isolate seems to be purer than the jug pure isolate (28g protein/33g scoop=84.8% protein) vs. (35g protein/42g scoop=83.3% -- same as costco Kaizen isolate)
  • The bulk isolate has slightly less sugar (1g/scoop vs 2g/scoop) -- which might be consequential for people on strict keto regimens

This right here is why I would not order 25 lbs for the first time lol

He's brave. Years ago, I ordered 20lbs of WP from My Protein and the flavour was terrible, tossed it down the drain to spike our municipal water source so everyone could get buff.

expect it to be exactly the same powder. differences are going to be due to rounding to nearest whole number
e.g. if it is 1.7g of sugar in a 42g scoop, it would be 1.34g in a 33g scoop. so you have either 2g or 1g when rounded

agree that the 25lbs is the best deal.
