The multiplier chart is here: ‎http://canadiantire.scene7.com/is/image ... p;hei=1482

The rows are how many litres you purchased.
The columns are the current multiplier (see 2nd last page of weekly flyer)
The cell that matches your litres and the multiplier shows how much money you will get in your e-ct account.

Alternatively, here is the base amount of money you get (no multiplier) for various litre fill ups. Take that amount and mutiply it by the week's multiplier:
15L. \$0.02‎
20L. \$0.04‎
25L. \$0.06‎
30L. \$0.08
35L. \$0.10
40L. \$0.12
45L. \$0.14
50L. \$0.16
55L. \$0.18
etc.

An example:
So if you buy 52L of gas with 11x multiplier, you will get \$0.16 x 11 = \$1.76 in e-ct money.
The savings is \$0.0352 per litre (\$1.76/50L).
If the price of gas is \$1.20, you will be saving 2.9% (0.0352 / 1.20)
I filled up last Saturday in 2 parts. Once 15 ltr and I got 30 cents as ct emoney and then 36.5 ltr and got 1.30 cad as ectmoney. Please help understand what multiplier should I be looking at to verify your above maths. Thanks in advance

If I understand their chart correctly, then...
the multiplier on the first 15L transaction was 15x. (\$0.30 / \$0.02)
The multiplier on the 2nd transaction was 16.25x (odd). (\$1.30 / \$0.08)
What was your method of payment?

It's an okay deal, you save around \$1 to \$3 a month depending on your plan, as opposed to using autopay with a credit card. I'm just going to stick with the credit card.

FYI you can set up autopay, which will take 2\$/month off the plan, but also top up with the vouchers at a discounted rate. It is completely stackable.

Where do you get the vouchers? I thought we can’t purchase gift cards with CT cards?

aw. last time you could buy the variable load gift cards and put up to \$500 on them. was easier to manage than stacks of \$100 GCs.

I tried purchasing PM vouchers at a CT and was rejected.

I also tried purchasing another GC for McDonald's at a different CT and was also rejected.

Both locations were in the GTA.
Would love to use some of these CT gc's for other gc's or PM vouchers.
If anyone has any tips let us know.

Calgary
Just got two a few hours ago at local Rexall here in downtown Calgary. At first they were scanning full price at \$50 a pop. Then rep asked if I have airmiles card. I was a little like why the hell do you need it but I pulled the code from my phone, he punched it in and price dropped by 10%. So apparently you need airmiles card in order to get 10% off, at least in Alberta.
