[Rexall] Gillette 5 blades 8-pack for only $16.99

I dunno about you guys but this seems like a good deal to me - getting 8 of these sexy blade refills for only $16.99. Gillette 5 blades are a lesser version of the Fusion....as the Gillette 3 blades are a lesser version of the Mach3 but they're still pretty good blades.

happy shaving

The Men's pack comes with 8 blades and the Women's Venus only 4. I can't support a company charging women double.

From a socially conscious company this is reprehensible. The wage gap may be made up but women get hosed on stuff like this.. also anything to do with babies, we need babyism to stop.

II'll still buy these razors since they're the best on the market. No other razor comes close to Gillette.

Haven't purchased Gillette or Schick blades for dacades ever since i found Edge blades at costco.
Does and lasts same as two big brads but costs only fractions.
If not Edge, Dorco.

instead I'll use that energy to shave.
If you actually used a quality blade it would do the work for you. Maybe try a safety razor if you want both quality and economy and aren't adverse to "putting energy" into your shave. *

Will these pivot to the Fusion handle or proglide ball version of the handle?

Big difference is these lack the precision trimmer. You can get fusions for under $2 each at Costco usually.

Also, how you boys man scape with a safety razor?

I'm not sure if I'm getting this right. But isn't the economies of scale completely different for Men's product and Women's product? Also, I'm pretty sure men shave way more often than women. Thereby if you accumulate cost over the whole year, men will be overpaying by a big margin.

N.B. I appreciate any honest criticism, but please refrain from any kind of name-calling.

There's a glut of better products at better prices on blades these days. Not to mention this is a company that's very hard to support anymore.

+1 on Edge blades @ Costco, DSC or Harry's. And if not for this competition Gillette likely wouldn't have released this lame version of the Fusion to compete on price.
