Rfd, is it pronouced Honey CRUEL-er or CRULL-er

I was at tim hortons the other night and got into a mini debate with my gf about how to pronouce this delicious, golden donut. She insisted it was Cruller, but having pronoucing Crueller for better half of my life I stood my ground. RFD end this debate.

I've always prounounced it cruel-ler. It sounds weird saying krull-er.
Tommato is the English (not Canadian) way of saying tomato. I've never heard anyone where I am say tommato.

I have never heard of anyone calling it krull-er. That just sounds odd...
