RIDE Checkpoints - be safe out there

Seems like cops are camping out under highway bridges and pretty much anywhere you can't U-turn around.
I've been RIDE stopped twice in 4 days - two different locations. I don't drink and drive, so no problem, but I hope it discourages more people from drinking and driving.

tl;dr - ride checks are out there and they're strategically placed to prevent you from being able to U turn away by the time you spot them. Don't chance it.

I'd suggest removing the location of the ride checks. If you don't drink and drive there is nothing to worry about when passing a ride check.

Didn’t know that. I thought they were still together and changed their number to 888-888888888888888888

Why is this even posted. People shouldn't get a heads up. They do the crime, they do the time - RFD'er or not; don't care.

C&B are stealthily trying to corner the Asian accident market with all them 8s

If they open up a funeral parlour they can change it to all 4s

‘Celino & Barnes, call 4-4-4 4-4-4-4’ [insert music]

edit - I just realized that Mattar already cornered the all 4s market. 444-4444. Wonder what his Asian clientele must look like...

U-turn? Just blow right through the checkpoint! What are they going to do, arrest you? LOL

On a serious note, they usually have cars parked nearby to go after people doing u-turns. As an RFDer you should hit as many checkpoints as possible, to increase your odds of getting coupons just in case they hand out free coupons or vouchers! (do they still do that? I haven't gotten any for a very long time)

Can you just refuse to answer questions at a ride check such as "have you been drinking?" No I do not drink, just I'm on a no talk to the police policy now and I don't want to speak with them at all.

You can act like a smartass at a checkpoint but be prepared to have your car torn apart and get a few bullshit tickets in the process.
