I don't think I could ever go back to not having an SSD as an OS drive and for my most-used games.

while regular HDD wont exactly blow up when you use it for OS/Oculus games, you really want your bottleneck to be your GPU and nothing else. SSD will certainly help, but if its just for first dips then not having SSD is better than not experiencing VR at all.

There's a small Store refresh today, as well as a patch for those affected by yesterdays Oculus Runtime error.
Check your emails, you may also be $15 richer for the troubles.

Dammit...where's the Edge Of Nowhere sale????
I'm seeing more and more sub $5 shovelware during these sales. Disappointed Face

Thats what you get for using the beta builds, you miss on all these errors :) no $15 for me, no Oculus Runtime errors.

Funny thing is, I didn't use my Oculus yesterday, so I wasn't even affected.
Either way, I have to give props to them for fixing it so quickly, plus the $15 damage control bonus was both unexpected & unnecessary.
Today, that patch works perfectly, so no complaints from me on how they handled this.

I believe you receive the $15 if you played your Oculus from February 1 to now, right?
