On another note, seems this fall is rumored launch time for the Quest 2 (so those considering an upgrade now might want to wait a little bit more).

The review I linked (though I think it's from the PSVR) is representative enough for my experience on the Rift.
I think most of the complaints were about smooth locomotion which has long been fixed (there are also scattered reports about bugs but I didn't experience any major ones).
It's a good value for $12, esp for fans of the 2016 Doom.

Oculus summer sale.
https://www.oculus.com/experiences/rift ... 258944223/

Prices could certainly be better though :(

PROZ, The Assembly, Detached, and FORM are reasonably priced noteworthy titles.

yes that, i had a oculus quest lately and resold it for what i had paid second hand because when looking at the quality and clarity of the reverb g2, thats how vr is supposed to be. nothing less.
i tried most vr headset, cv1, rift s, quest lenovo, if the valve index was this good i wouldve paid what they want for their headset.

Well the developer has that odd (yet not uncommon) valuation for the game, s(he) stated in reply to a steam review that the game is actually underpriced at MSRP, not because of its assets but rather because of it's replayability. While I don't necessarily agree with such mindset yet, as someone with a software development background, one can certainly see where it comes from (*cough* beatsaber *cough*).

So game will go on sale every once in a while but just not as frequently as one might like.
