Is this the right way to split one ISP connection into two private networks?

Is this the right way to split one ISP connection into two private networks?

The only thing I'm not sure of is how to handle port forwading, but I would assume thatat the main router, I would set port forwards to the 2ndary router, and at the 2ndary router forward those ports to individual IPs

Can't see your picture, assuming double NAT. Double NAT is difficult, good luck.

Your link says you have to be logged in to view the photo.

The second link shows a triple NAT setup which is not a good way to accomplish this
