Road Rage Video in Bowanville goes viral - results in charges

After watching these videos along with the suspect's lame excuses I can't help wondering why she was not charged with Dangerous Driving (Criminal) rather than Careless Driving (HTA).

Both her and her daughter need some anger management classes me thinks. It really chafes my butt how nowadays the excuses for bad behaviour is always mental health issues. I know lots of people suffering from a variety of mental health issues and behaving like a Banshee is not something I recall being one of their symptoms.

Strange - Apple Blossom Boulevard sounds like such a peaceful place.

I wonder where the careless driving charge came from: was it from charging at pedestrians after they were stopped, or the running a red light to turn right and not landing in your lane properly at the beginning of the video?

Surely it can't be the latter - that is a staple of Canadian driving lately.

Isn’t this an old incident? I seem to recall something similar happened but for one reason or another the place was Brampton / Mississauga.

How is this only careless driving? If I were a resident of Durham Region I'd be making a stink with the Durham Police over those weak charges. Not only was it dangerous driving, but they could have run over any number of those other people on the side walk.

Is careless not an automatic summons? Don't deal HTA in a daily basis so could be wrong

Also, what if I told you my wifes name was Karen and she was the sweetest woman in the face of the earth. Yup. Glad her name isn't Karen....

Her license should be ripped into pieces. Wait, they don't do that here, sadly even if you kill someone. I was going to say, are they waiting for her to kill someone.

Meanwhile at my house.... me, working from home happily.
