that's my experience as well. car full of boxes/stuff and the board guard didn't bother to inspect it. The interstates are all two lanes and much better in terms of costs (gas, accomodation, food). quite a few good sites to see as well.

Man. Such a long drive and your finish line (aka. reward) is Edmonton? Brutal. Haha.
PS: I'm from Edmonton. It's nice in the summer, but you may as well drive a few more hours to check out the pretty Rockies too.
