I think you read it wrong, the first sim is $9.95, second is $4.95, etc. they aren't all $1.95 if you buy 5. . .

On one hand, they reduce price of SIM cards, but on the other hand, they take more money by making you spend every 6 months just to keep it active.

Mexico is so expensive. If you're going to unlock your phone and install another sim-card, why not to buy local mexican sim?

Do they need to be on the same account? If not, anyone in Toronto want to split an order?

Looks like buying 5 together = Total $23.75, which is $4.75 per person. Need one for a trip to the US in 2 weeks

Terrible company with zero support. Expiring sims earlier than the 6 months stated, not responding to emails- be warned.

All depends if you think paying $3 every 6 months to keep ththe sim alive worth it comapred to T-Mobile's sim charge.

What do you mean by non-active? Is an unopened pack considered non-active?

He means if you activate it once, you have to keep it active every 6 months or it will expire. I complained about this change to them and they just shrugged it off. I'd recommend people to just buy a sim in the states. This is only beneficial if you go every couple months or so AND use it too. Otherwise, you'll be paying a lot more to keep it running or end up with nothing!

Their service was awful for me. Used once, learned my lesson.

Their discount makes sense since most who used to pay yearly to keep it active will be paying double now. Not a deal unfortunately

Ah thanks for the explanation. I bought a pack of 2 last year for a trip but it got cancelled. The two sims are still unopened. I guess we will use them once then be done with since we don't go south that often.

This is 80% off in the same way that BOGO is 100% off.

Even if you buy 5, it's only 52% off. $23.75 vs. $49.75.

they are obviously feeling the pressure from the telcos implementing $5/10 per day Roaming plans.

Well it's only a SIM card. I think most providers don't charge for them?
