ROE due to change of company name

I have been working for this company for about 2 year. The company is changing the name and is issuing a ROE to all employees with code K13. We were also told that we will get 2 T4's this year. I am wondering what issues this could bring to the employees in the near future. i.e. if I get lay off could this be a problem when applying for EI or any other issues ? TIA for the comments..

It shouldn't cause any issues, it's coded properly

This happens often, companies change legal names or get acquired all the time. this is completely normal and irrelevant. dont worry about it. the sum of your two T4s should add up correctly.
