[Rogers] $5 off your next bill when you register for online billing

Opened an internet account with Rogers a few weeks ago, received an offer in the mail today along with the bill that indicate that if you register for online billing, you will get $5 off of you next bill (one-time credit). Offer ends June 30, 2016

you can:
1. text "eBill" to 202020 or
2. visit rogers.com/myrogers or rogers.com/bss (for business customers)

For those who already have ebilling, and was never given this credit before, it's worth the try.
Will update in the next bill to see whether the credit is applied

I did this 2 months ago, didn't see a $5 discount on the next bill. Contacted live chat, they absolutely refused having known anything about this offer. Unfortunately I didn't screen cap the banner and had no proof so I asked them to move me back to paper billing. Seeing the banner again now, will screen cap it this time.

Banner means advertisement and screen Cap meaning screenshot

If they weren't such dirt bags that would give you a $2 discount monthly. Until they were prohibited from doing so, they charged an extra $2/month or $24/year for the privilege of retaining paper billing. That's what it was worth to them. But suddenly it's only worth $5 total.
