[Rogers] 8 GB BYOD $70 (Ontario)

While on the phone with rogers attempting to get the chatr deals,

retentions mentioned they do have a 70 dollar 8gb plan in response for people that missed out on the 10gb plan not 100 percent sure what it comes with

but if it's like the other plans it'll have unlimited talk and text with 8gb for 70 bucks

this is no contract byod YMMV depending on the agent and is for ontario and possibly other provinces

the code if i remember began with rit42223 or rit42224 possible that its ritm42223 or ritm42224 sorry guys just trying to do my part in the deal world

Sigh... delete now before the rain of thumbs downs happen. Not trying to be mean. I guess it's something

This is insulting to customers. Spend $10 more for 2gb less. No point in this, better off waiting for the next deal if you missed the $60/10GB deal.

telus just switched me over to the $60 10 GB plan so telcos are still doing it esp for their shitty phone coverage on the weekend

I did a bit of pleading, was offered the $70 for 8 Gb, with 2 phones coming off tabs in Oct 2018 and 3 BOYD phones with Robbers, I'll be shopping around near summer time.

Not saying I would do it but out of curiousity, how do you thumb down a post?

You havent posted enough to have been given the privilege to down vote. I'm unsure of the amount of posts you need

Honestly, as tempting as the $60 10gb plans were, I'm on the $35 unlimited talk, text, and data plan from when wind just started so there's no point.

I was in touch with Rogers today and apparently tonight is the last day for this plan. And according to Rogers, it’s considered a retention plan, meaning you can get the better choice bundles discount applied (if you already have it). Makes no difference for the 8GB no tab plan for $70, but if you are on the 10GB for $85 premium tab plan and use less than 7 to 8 GB in a cycle, I would move to the 8GB for $85 plan and get the BCB discount. The BCB discount is not applicable to the 10GB $85 plan.
