[Rogers] Apple Watch Series 3 (Cellular): $120 or $160 - No Contract! (In Store - YMMV Stock)

GPS & Cellular Series 3 Apple Watch... comes with 3 months of free service (for Share Everything and Rogers Infinite customers).

38mm: $120
42mm: $160

It's Rogers so they will ding you with a $35 connection fee.
The deal is in store only. No contract, so you can cancel any time.
EDIT: Looks like this deal was originally available on Black Friday, the offer is still available while supplies last.

Is it worth signing up for a plan and paying the connection fee to get this? I can't seem to find what constitutes an eligible plan?

Repost. Most store sold out. Plus you can get activation fee waived when either chat online or manage to get someone nice willing to do that in store

1. Buy cheap, buy twice
2. Don’t buy because it’s cheap. Buy it when needed or it brings convenience/happiness/better quality in life
3. Buy now think (regret/return) later

So if you cancel in the first month how much do you end up paying? I'm not interested in a plan

Incredible, I searched 8 different times with different keywords before posting this and RFD search couldn't find any related threads!
Leverage wrote: The monthly increments is an interest free loan from Rogers. Why pay $120 + tax lump sum when you can pay $5/mo x 24 mo added to a bill you're paying monthly anyways?
Mandatory $10 a month service plan... so it's really $15 a month for 24 months. That's how they get you.

No ECG, but the series 3 is now so cheap, it can prevent heart attacks (when you get your credit card bill).

Because you would be paying minimum $10 for the Cellular service Smartwatch plan also so that is $15/month for 24 months. Some people don’t want the Smartwatch plan so they would pay it in full.

Search “Apple Watch” and choose “show thread” and “search in thread title only” will quickly take you there. That’s how I normally do

2. Don’t buy because it’s cheap. Buy it when needed or it brings convenience/happiness/better quality in life
3. Buy now think (regret/return) later

Normally 120 for 38mm or 160 for 42mm, plus $30 activation, and then plus tax.

If you lucky, you may get away with $30 activation fee, or charged on first bill and credited back on 2nd bill, so only $120/160 plus tax

I used "Search this forum" (Hot Deals) instead of Search All Forums (Black Friday/Cyber Monday).

I wouldn't be surprised if Rogers restocks... Apple is still selling Series 3 watches today, they're not end of life or discontinued. If Apple wants to clear our inventory for the holidays, they'll use a reseller like Rogers (that has an incentive of hooking people up to plans), they would never price the watches this low through their own channels. I'll add "YMMV - Stock" in the thread title though.
