These "unlimited" plans are really poor value. This is the telco's last attempt to milk money out of us.

The best deal wildly available in the past year was the 60$/10GB deal. Now you can pay 15$ more to get dial up speeds beyond that. You're effectively prepaying your overage charges at a user experience comparable to the mid 2000s. IMO this isn't a deal, but continued price gouging.

I pay 48 using the EPP stacking, and a lot of haggling, and get 15 GB, while living in Ontario.

I know it’s technically an unsharable data plan but have read reports that it may work?
Yeah you can add your smartwatch for $10, but it’ll just have 1gb of data for itself.

At this point I think OP is just trying to post any random *deals* he sees to maintain and gain his upvote count.
😎Thanks RFD😎

Good thought.
Actually I would think majority of the working population or who does some sort of work during the day or study, probably does not use data more than 10-12 gb. I've had 20 GB data for ~3 years and never went over maybe 15 gbs. Hence i would assume they are only doing this to charge more money to consumer as they would definitly have the data for there analysis already on average data consumption.

Was able to get a Telus EPP quote

$75 for 10gb
S10e for $99
$200 port in credit.

Thoughts?

As long as you realize you are paying for the phone, through a higher monthly fee, and that's what you works for your budget etc, then go for it!

i'm waiting on your Koodo deals :D.

Which plans changed? Rogers? Bell or telus?
Telus is copying the US contract system. Bell and Rogers will probably match after a little bit
Plans should be getting reworked at the same time
Koodo, Fido, Telus, Public Mobile, Virgin customer.

So something like every device $0 down and equal monthly payments?

Similar to what Rogers hinted when they launched the new plans. Phone payment will stop after you have paid off the phone and then you only pay for the plan (like Koodo)

Finally !!
These plans are a scam. Big 3 found a way to get guaranteed $15/mo in overages at only 256kbps speed

Nope, not yet! :( Mobilesyrup has updated their post and Virgin won't be offering a unlimited plan for the meantime...... Though Chatr and Fido website said their promo plans end on July 2nd so there might be a overhaul of the plans on the 3rd of July. So I am guessing soon......
