[Rogers] BIG YMMY - Rogers WinBack $80 10GB + $500 Credits + $0 Flagship

Big YMMV on this as I had left Rogers over a year ago and they're calling me back with an "exclusive" win-back promotion.

Got offered $80 for
-unlimited Canada-wide/texting/10GB data
-$0 device:
iPhone 8
iPhone 7 Plus
Galaxy S9
Galaxy S8+
Huawei P20 Pro
Pixel XL 2
LG G6
-$500 port in credit per line added first or second bill
-$30 credit for activation fee

Phone # is 1-855-207-8310 but pretty sure you can only get deals if your number is on their list so BIG YMMV

With the $500 credit, this effectively comes roughly $60/mo for a 10GB plan with a flagship device for 24mos. Not bad.

Good luck for those who wanna try calling in!

Calling in won't help, Winback is outbound only and they'll have the offer on file.

Gotta question...

I have Rogers for internet, tv and home phone but bell mobility for wireless. Will Rogers offer any special deal like this for me to switch since I am already a Rogers customer?

I have only seen the other way around... if you have Rogers Wireless, they get you a deal on internet/tv/phone. So im not sure why not. Never hurts to try.

Yaaa, not too sure for wireless. for my experience with wireless, when you call in, if you dont like the offers, escalate to supervisor level and so on.

I got this deal.

Rogers had no clue who or where this deal came from. If you left Rogers you may get this call.

All they're desperately doing is trying to get rid of older phones.
If they want your business bad enough, they could at least offer an S9plus for that. (instead of the S9)
Nice try though.

The iPhone 8 still retails for nearly $1000. The $500 credit brings the deal down to $60. This is a phenomenal deal.

My wife and I went for the december promotion 60$ 10 gig plan. (switched from Rogers to Telus.). Got a call to win me back to Rogers.

I was hesitant at first but ended up biting. $500 bill credit per line AND an S9. I quickly flipped the S9 for $725. Effectively, I got $1225 per line.

Yeah $80 included with tab with $500 credit.

I still had multiple lines with roughly $300~ in cancellation penalty w/ Bell but I still took this offer. Market prices for our phones (as they're relatively new) could cover me the $300 and then I could reap the $500 credit in the long run.

If you already have the 60 for 10gb from Rogers bell or Telus do not get finessed by this deal you will lose your 60 for 10 for forever. These companies think they’re too smart for us. Nope not this time.
