I signed up about 1.5 weeks ago and still looking for 3gb from transferring from Freedom to be added to my account.

They tell me they will create a case but then they add US calling feature for $5 vs the 3gb. Has this happened to anyone else?

Hmmm
Curious how long it takes for Rogers to give you a call back with a winback promotion? It is in the first few days or the first week or two.

TIA

Didn't make a move during the holidays so I'm still sort of in the market on potentially shaving a few bucks off my monthly cell phone bill.

I'm currently on the 10GB premium plan from the holiday 2017 promotions playing $85+tax. I'm also paying the $10/mo or whatever for the device protection. I have my Note 8 that is now half paid off ($400 balance remaining), and it does have chipped glass in the upper corners on the back, but I believe the first replacement of the device protection is free so I could opt to do that for reselling purposes I suppose.

Don't think I have ever come close to even using 5GB of data in a month (only exception would be when the wifi would reach me outside when I was streaming Twitch during that solar eclipse). Prior to the move to Rogers in December 2017 I was on the Koodo SK/MB plan paying just shy of $56/mo. I'm paying about $110/mo now for the past year, so anything less than that would be a win. My mom works for Lakeridge Health so she qualifies for government plans - not sure if that would benefit me in anyway. My current line is on her account, but no discounts. Couldn't move it to my account as a TOR as the 10GB we are on isn't available anymore.

So not sure what my best move would be? I don't necessarily need a new device at this point in time. Any suggestions would be appreciated as I tend to just overthink this stuff and then never end up deciding and pulling the trigger, lol.

It's been 7 months for my spouse and still no winback call. They would have to give us a pretty sweet deal to leave though since penalties are high with the current provider.

FWIW, I chatted with Rogers on twitter (ported out August 2017) and they told me that the WINBACK team only calls people who ported out in the last 3 months. You're likely SOL, but I'd still try to hit them up.

We cancelled with Rogers and got a call back but the deals were not as good, iphone xr for 329 with around 450 back and a deal for either 5gb for 67 or 10gb for 80. Looks like the costs of the phones have got a lot more expensive

I got a call back today that I ended up taking.

Note 9 for $99, On a 10 GB ultra tab plan for $88.00 per month (20% discount off $110) and a $300 credit.

I ported to Freedom on their 10 GB plan so I was paying $90 a month.

In the end I am coming out $200 on top, but 2 GB less a month since I had 12 GB with freedom, but I have never used more than 9 GB a month, so no worries for me.

That's what they offered me back in July when I got my winback call. The only credits they would give me was if I got a phone with them on contract.

But after that they also offered me $10 for Long Distance to the US + US roaming and $1 for US + international text.

So all in all I pay $67 for a Can-US plan, and I was originally with Telus on their Can-US plan, but I was paying $75.

just want to confirm, everyone receiving the winback call moved with their Rogers numbers, right? Anyone that fully cancelled and left their phone number and received a call? Likely to their home phone

Seems like a great offer (for Rogers). I ported out to Fizz (Quebec) on December thanks to the thread in RFD and I prefer my current $40.46 for Coverage Canada, SMS Unlimited text messaging, Voice Unlimited minutes, Data 8 GB +rollover unused data (2 months forward). I would change back if I receive the call. 20 bucks for a cellphone and 2gb of data for 2 years sounds nice.

Got the Winback call today - I'm trying to decide to either stay with Koodo $60 10GB or move to Rogers for $56 10GB
This would be for 5 lines so $20 savings a month.

Guaranteed for 24 months but what happens after that?

My account have 1 voice data 10 gb and 2 tablet data lines total 21gb under the Share Everything plan, i also have 1Individual Wireless line $60 with 10 gb with 25% discount This morning i made a call talked about Individual Wireless line that 25% discount was not applied on my Feb bill so the CSR reapplied the 25% on my account which was no problem. so now i just log-in my account i see the 2 tablet line is remove from Share Everything plan to 2 Individual Wireless tablet lines and both line get it own 10 gb. Now i don't know should i call back ask them to move back to under the Share Everything or should i leave as it Individual Wireless line. anyone know what should i do?

Here is the deal

I had two line on my acct previously. One ported to freedom on Boxing Day. Didn’t get the win back call yet BUT I am actually trying to get a deal for the line that is still with Rogers.

Can I use the win back for my roger line rather than the freedom line? My roger line is on EPP $24 and I want to upgrade to data probably $80 a month. U think they will settle?

Is this a call to retention or to win back?

Today I got a call from win back and they are asking what phone I want. I asked them any Note 9. They told me note 9 will be 200 upfront but they can waive that. $72 for 5GB data and $80 for 10 GB data. But no more bill credit. I asked them to give call on Monday!

Is it a good offer or i should wait more time!
