Today I got a call from win back and they are asking what phone I want. I asked them any Note 9. They told me note 9 will be 200 upfront but they can waive that. $72 for 5GB data and $80 for 10 GB data. But no more bill credit. I asked them to give call on Monday!

Is it a good offer or i should wait more time!

If you think about it, that $68/10 GB with $0 S9 does factor in the credit, considering that people are getting $80/10 GB, you are getting the $12.xx x 24 discount. You would be getting about $300 credit.

Your deal isn't actually all that bad.

I wish I knew this thread existed, they offered me $67/8gb, $300 credit, and $200 for Huawei Mate 20 Pro. I took it because it was better than what I previously had, I was hoping to get 10gb but the lady said I'd have to pay like $80. The 2gb extra for that price didn't seem worth it.

Think it's possible to negotiate still? Doubt it since I committed to that for 2 years.

I’ve been getting calls from Rogers everyday now since I left them to join Koodo last week. I’ve been with them/Fido for over 10 years. Should I pick up the call to see what they offer?

Doesn't hurt to pick up the phone and see what they can offer, and if you're undecided afterwards, tell them to call back, post here and get some opinions.
They called me 3-4 times a week up until I finally got a chance to answer, and they didn't really wow me with any of their offers. But give it a shot and keep posted.

It's up to you! It also doesn't hurt to see what they offer you. You can just say no. Which is exactly what I said last week. Then the lady said if I wanted to come back to Rogers at a later time to call them on the same phone number.

Nope. Once it's set in stone, its set. You could always call back, say you want to add a line with a similar offer, and ask for what you requested. Then, just return your first purchase. If you really need that extra 2 GB.

If you don't, what you got is fine.

May I ask though how did you get 8 GB for $67? I assume its the 3 GB bonus going on right now on top of the 5 GB? Cause I was offered 5 GB for $67.

it should only be 2 - 3 bill cycle ... send a complaint or at least follow up.. at least make sure a note is on your account.

Does anyone know if you can set up cancellation on your wireless account say for end of March, and if you don't get a call back from winback you can cancel your cancellation (and continue with your regular service)?

I’ve contacted them numerous times and I hear inconsistent responses like “it’s pending,” “I see it but waiting for approval,” “you’ll need to contact winback to get them to do it,” which I called and never got a call back.

So it’s all documented that I get my $500 credit but I have yet to see it on my bill.

Ah ok that makes more sense. Reaching winback will be difficult. Call in and pretend you want to add a second line. Someone will call you back. Then you complain.
