Spoke with win back earlier this week and they gave me $85/month for Rogers Popular TV and Gigabit Internet for one year with no cable box rental. Now if there's a price increase then my bill will increase as well since it's guaranteed savings and not guaranteed price like Bell. Still, I'm saving money so I'll stick with them for another year. Don't want to pay another $25/month for FTTH with Bell.

Hi there

Im with bell for the past 3 years and they are charging ridiculously high ($230) for the TV/internet/phone package. I am very interested in switching to rogers and was wondering who do I call to negotiate the best deal for a new customer, thanks!

Nicely done. Worth renewing at those prices, even if it goes up a bit. About the same as what I got as a new customer, except I got Premiere and a couple other goodies thrown in

I put in a cancellation. Best I was offered was 500u for $82.99 + tax...

Looking to see what winback can offer or I will just switch to start.ca so I don't have to deal with this every year

I saw someone get a free Samsung Galaxy S9 with 5gb per month @ $55 / month with Rogers. This was at T-booth wireless.

Is there such a plan? 2 year contract

Thanks for the info, pacer. Called Management Office yesterday and they couldn't come up with anything that would push the monthly lower than $170 for premier tv/500u internet/home phone. Escalated to OOTP and received a call back today. The "best" they could do was $135 taxes in for select tv + fairchild package/500u internet/home phone. Also offered $39.99 for 500u alone. I turned it down and called the regular Rogers number to cancel my services. The rep somehow managed to offer me a better price for the same package ($123 taxes in). Cancellation is scheduled for Jan03, so we'll see if Winback calls me back. I had mentioned all those offers other people had received but their reply was that it is dependent on postal code.

Anyways, I'm fully prepared to cut the cord on Rogers so my biggest concern is finding a good internet option. Anyone have experience with Virgin Mobile home internet? $30/mth sounds pretty good. With Rogers 100u, I was rarely getting more than 50mb speed anyway. Or should I stick with Rogers and take their $39.99 500u offer?

I'm going to be moving in the new year.

Currently I have Internet/TV/home Phone. I don't want TV/Home Phone in the new house, just internet.

Worth trying to setup a deal? I'm considering just cancelling and then getting Fido's deal of $32.50/month for 75MBPS service.

What's the best available deal for 100u or 500u at the moment? My contract with Rogers is coming to an end in Jan 22nd.

Just called in yesterday and got the following to quote to replace my current $99 GB + VIP service + 1 rental hd box.

$106.68 for GB internet, Premier TV, 1 rental HD box ( I own the main pvr). A bit higher than 2 years ago. No contract.

Does this seem reasonable or should I wait for a potential better deal? My contract runs until Feb 22. I'd prefer a 2 year contract if I could rather than having to deal with this in 12 months again.

thanks,
