Ah man 3 tries so far still no budging...

I got Extreme with 200GB for 55ish offered...

I keep getting told we do not have that plan available.

Would anyone be nice enough to give me their acct# so when they lie and say they don't have that plan I can say my "friend" just got it here is his acct# check it out.

So this one apparently knows of the plan but now the new rule is for New Customers only.

CSR notified my that install fee of 49.99 will be credited to my third bill. Is this normal?
And also if I have a other service with rogers that receives monthly term discounts, will rogers automatically apply the bundle discount on top?

Tomorrow is the last day we can offer it.
Would the better choice bundle discount still apply to the service if applicable?

My folks were asked specifically that there shouldn't be other Rogers' services under their address (which they don't have any). Their install were done quickly - called Friday afternoon, tech came Saturday afternoon. I stll have to go over to set up the wireless and some minor tweak. Speed was 18/1.8 in the evening so I guess not bad.

made 1 call, dialed *611, went through menu options to cancel services(only have internet)

-rep answered and I advised that I wanted to cancel my internet, switching to teksavvy.
-She asked why and (I lied)I told her I asked a previous agent for the $45/8yrs/extreme deal, but was told "NO".
-Rep looked at my account and said she can switch me to that deal, and she did not understand why I was told no before.
-She said my monthly will be $50.85...... total call took less than 10mins.

there is no contract - when extreme becomes dial up, you opt out.

this is why i don't think this deal is going away anytime soon - people keep talking about the promo disappearing, and it not being applicable for people with existing services, but that's all bullocks.
