[Rogers/Fido Wireless] Free $10 iTunes Code!!

Update 2: Codes appear to be OOS untill Monday. I suggest not singing up for Rogers Alert till Monday Morning.

Update 1: Will NOT work if you have already subscribed to Rogers Alert in the past.

Just received this text and its not a bad deal.

"Rogers Alerts: Looking for great deals? Rogers Alerts sends you text messages about deals and offers when you are near great Canadian retail stores. It's free to join and you can opt-out at any time. Sign up today and get a $10 iTunes Code at http://roge.rs/rai111514 . Reply STOP to opt-out of Rogers text msgs. Reach us at http://roge.rs/reachus"

So basically you have to sign up for Rogers Alert and "Share your location" with them so they can send you offers when your near a store.

For signing up you get a free $10 iTunes code. You get the code immediately and right after you get the code you can text "STOP" and opt out of the Rogers Alert.

Must be a Rogers or Fido Wireless Customer!

But you can opt out as soon as you redeem the code. I see no harm in doing it for the free $10 code

I am already on it, wonder if I can cancel and then get in again.
The first rule of RFD is, you do not talk about RFD.

The second rule of RFD is, you DO NOT talk about RFD.

for those who are lazy to read this weekend:

"you may cancel your RogersTM Alerts subscription at any time by sending a SMS text message to us at 5050 and text the word "STOP", "CANCEL", OR "UNSUBSCRIBE" or by logging on to your RogersTM Alerts Account at the RogersTM Alerts Webpage."

Took like 2 minutes to setup, receive code, and unsubscribe. Thanks!

Do you have to be a Rogers customer to qualify the deal?

Here 'n There
Odd that you have to be a Rogers wireless customer. Non-Rogers customers are just as suitable a group to market to for 'great deals from some of Canada's best retail stores'!

At least Virgin is smart enough to use their better ongoing special deals as a marketing ploy to get people to join rather than this lame one-time iTunes promo.
