This isn't bad for those whom don't want to renew after the 1 year deal at $59.99 .. at least this way you get 2 years bfore you have to deal with them again lol

The price is not bad even compare to teksavvy.
And at least they let you cancel if they increase the price, it is not easy, but at least that is possible.

Totally worth it!

I switched back to rogers internet earlier this month and got the ignite 100u. I get about 130mbps on speedtest. Having unlimited usage is fantastic. No more worries about my youtube and netflix usage unlike when i was with teksavvy (though teksavvy had great service for me) or before that when i was with bell. I even actually use the included nhl gamecentre live.

This is exactly what I am look for from Bell ... they will have to match. I'll let them get knocked around by a few RFDers first.

Just called. I'm on the student discount now (same 100u service), but it seems worth it to pay an extra $5 for two years.

The CSR asked me where on the site the deal was so I gave her the info and she says "yes I see it", put me on hold and then said "yeah so it's only for three months then goes up to full price, you're better off with what you have"

I told her that's not what it says, and she agreed, but didn't seem like she knew what else to do. No point in continuing to argue, I'll just try again on Monday.

Just wondering if anyone else who is currently on the student plan had any luck.

This $65 link does not specify if the modem is included, anyone confirm???

Never mind, I checked the regular price if $87.99 including modem and that is what the prices goes up to according to the terms. so I would bet the modem is included for $65

I'm on Ignite 100 and get both Shomi and Gamecentre for free. Can't imagine it would be any different with this deal.

The price is comparable to what I am paying teksavvy ... I'm paying teksavvy $70 no contract vs $65 rogers 2 years contract. I know I only have 400GB with teksavvy but I normally use way less because most of my downloads are done between 2am-8am. To me, at this price, it is a wash. I will switch if 250 ignite at $65 -- includes having to do rogers dance every 2 years.

Isn't the student discount from last year $48 tax in for the 100u service? That's my student price and it expires in June so that would be a $25 increase not a $5?
