I asked it over live chat. They told me that the price is subject to price increase during that two years period, but you have the same discount. to clarify, let's assume you have now connected for 50 bucks per month but real price is 125 bucks/month now. So, the current price difference for you is $75. If the real price for that service over months goes up, say $150, your monthly payment will be $25 difference + your current $50 in total. You will pay $75/month then. Still you have that difference on initial discount on your account for 24 months!
This is how Rogers works! :)

Seems Rogers no longer honors price match, not sure on Bell but you can try. It never hurts to try! :)

Was able to get a slightly better deal this week on this. Took me two attempts

Ended up getting 1.5Gbps for $39.99/mo. Pleasant surprise was an existing $10/mo modem discount was able to be carried over so it brought it down to $29.99/mo.

I'm located in Richmond Hill as a FYI to others trying.

I was able to get 49.99 for 1.5gb through the chat.
The only catch was that the rep said they were cancelling my current account and starting a new one, with a new credit check. I didn't care...said go for it.
I got the new modem the next day, and it has all been setup perfectly for about a month now.

I got an email saying my bill was due; however, I have no way to pay it...for whatever reason, in every single email and PDF attachment rogers has sent me, the new account number has asterisks all over it. I guess I need to wait for a paper bill, or contact chat again to find my actual account number? It's absolutely absurd.

Not sure how everyone is getting these offers. So far $80 for 500Mbps is the best I am getting in Cambridge. 25% increase over last year.

What are the upload speeds on this plan? Are they at least close to the download speeds that Bell provides?

The Rogers CSR knew everything about my current account with Fido. Obviously, I was only offered 69.99 + tax for 1.5gb, which I declined. Competition really sucks in Canada.

50mbps, rogers can't match fiber upload speeds.

I started a live chat and asked when my promotion ended even though I knew it was ending in February.

The sales representative told me it was ending in February and then immediately offered me a $30 reduction from the new $124 price. So it is now $89. I then asked what is the cancellation procedure if I wanted to cancel and I put a date of one month in advance and then I got offered $55 for the year and I took it

you need the new modem for 1.5Gb? I just got a call from Rogers today and they offered me 1.5Gb for $49.99 and 6 months of Disney+. I tried to ask for billing credits but no bite. I have a white tower modem for 300u currently and he told me that modem is good for 1.5Gb. I am not sure I should believe him or not

Correction: It's actually 2.5Gb, not 1.5Gb I just got the email. Now I am sure that crappy modem will not get me that speed

I contacted Rogers live chat today for two of the accounts I look after and was able to get the Ignite 1.5 Gigabit plan for $44.99 after $80 off on the original price for both. I didn't have any promotions expiring yet but just decided to see what's available right now.

Update: I was able to get the Ignite 2.5 Gigabit plan for my wife's condo at $54.99 also located in Markham.
A BIG thumbs up!

After 1 Gigabit it's all a blur so best to get a lower speed than 2.5gigabit and save 5 or 10 bucks.

Amazing find!!!!

It was a lie. I just speed test my Internet (after rebooting the modem), I could only get up to 540mb this is from a wire ethernet connected to the modem

I received the same price of 30$ in riverdale in December. It was for 2 years also, but no 100$ credit.
