Rogers Outage for more than 30 hours now - Etobicoke

Hi Guys.. Do you know how to escalate a Rogers Internet outage in Etobicoke area to the senior most level like Chief Customer Care Officer and all...

My internet is down since the last 30 hours... and its miserable as all services related to it are down... I heard from my condo guys that its going to be out for more than 3-5 days... so wanted to get this escalated.. reaching out on their twitter handle is also not working as they only give explanations and excuses.. maybe someone can retweet the outage and it will help them sit up and take note...

Your help will be really appreciated...

p.s - I posted this from my office network... in downtown...

Escalating may or may not help, depending on the reason for the outage.

Is it your unit, building or the entire area?

Since it's the entire area, I'm pretty sure that escalating will not help. I'm sure many people have already complained. The problem may even be beyond Rogers' control.

If internet is that important to you, you should have have a 2nd service. Outages happen.

This isn't something escalation can fix.

Or Rogers should have better backup plan

I can just imagine how much that'd cost.
Last mile is the most expensive bit. Trying to redundant that would be hilarious.

stupid complaining thread. just pickup the phone and call Rogers ... then escalate through the echelon there ...

just get ready to spend at least 3-4 hours of your life to argue and repeat your story to at least 3-4 different people ...

All you gonna get back is just a credit .... don't even think that you will get ONE MONTHS CREDIT!
