Damn 50% management fee. That is outrageous for a SEM firm. At that rate you better do it on your own plus google will help you optimize it for free. Normally most SEM companies will charge a fix fee or 10% fee on all adwords campaign costs

Does anyone have any recommendations on helping with SEO in the Vancouver area? These guys approached me as well, sounded interesting, but I'm glad I told them no.

One of clients I deal with was scammed by them. They took the money and didn't really do anything. Apparently canceling was an issue. They are not in the business of SEO,but in the business of called calling, getting folks who don't know anything about SEO to give their credit cards and then they sit and do 1/10th of what they promised.

When they called me last week(these idiots just keep calling even though I asked them many times to stop) I decided to ask some SEO questions and it became apparent they don't really know that much. It seems they are hiring people with no experience and maybe tell them to watch "how to be SEO in 7 days" video and off they go working for them.

Please stay away from these scammers!!

Is this to replace Adwords or they work in combination with Google Adwords. I want to minimize my Adwords cost and maximize leads. Can this service help?

Why can't you do it yourself! Seriously, do you think you'll be spending less with them. LOL!!! They are in the business to make money. You can optimize adwords by yourself. A lot of people stupidly target wrong keywords. Say you do real estate. A lot of dumb people put keywords such as
real estate
estate toronto
realestate
Canada homes
Real estate agents
homes for sale

and general words like this

You should target words that are being searched together with no broad terms. You'd use something like
Toronto real estate agents
best real estate agents toronto
recommendations real estate agents toronto

Get it? If you are already targeting those keywords then there's very little anyone can do. They'll take your money, use half $ in your campaign and other half as their fee. It works for large companies with 1000s of $ in budgets every month, but for small businesses it's a pretty stupid to use an outside company for this.
Take half an hour to learn about it yourself. Lots of videos, Google can offer you help too. They also offer phone support too so they can help you to analyze and optimize your campagns FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Leave a BBB complaint. BBB nothing but a paid directory and for a fee they do remove complains or mark them as 'resolved',but it may help if you go to court - it will prove you tried to find a resolution. Leave some reviews on other sites like Yelp, google, etc. Keep all notes, emails. Either record conversations or communicate via email to leave a trace.
I don't think it will be hard to sue them if they didn't do much. The abundance of scammed customers by them is beyond normal. I am impressed they are still in business!

As business owners we are juggling many many different tasks and do not have the time to sit down patiently and learn it yourself.
Bosses focus their energy on where it counts most - which is usually bringing in money and developing things that no-one else in the company can do.
Therefore, its only normal and natural to outsource these things. Especially the people who are not 100% comfortable with computers, who do not come from technical backgrounds.

I've used Outrank in the past, and also worked as an SEO specialist. What I can tell you is that Outrank is DEFINITELY overpriced, and their work is sloppy. Their reporting is not as transparent as one would hope. They're clearly riding off the Rogers brand. You're better off hiring a third party independent SEO specialist, or a freelancer. You will save thousands of dollars doing so, and have a better product with more transparency. I DO NOT recommend Outrank to anybody.

And these scammers keep calling monthly from different numbers and refusing to unsubsribe. YELP is on the scam as they are filtering all the negative reviews and only posting the positive and with the scam YELP is, those reviews aren't counted towards the final number, giving Rogers Outrank a good score. I am puzzled as to why government hasn't stepped in with this nonses 1000s and 1000s of dissatisfied clients and nobody does anything. A huge scam run by Rogers and nothing is being done!

Nooooooooo, please don't stop using them!
Our best clients are the ones who got burned by Outrank. They make our jobs so much easier lol

The accounts we take over from Outrank, be it Adwords or Bing... they are soooo bent out of shape that it's embarrassing to tell the client! So when we deliver even a small promise that Outrank made and wasn't able to deliver on, it makes us feel so good.

Even got flowers from a client on the 5th week just last month with a card that said something funny lol
