Rogers Phone Financing

Since I just activated my line about two weeks ago and brought my own device, I cannot upgrade my device for about another two weeks. The line has to be active for 30 days.

I cannot seem to get this information out of customer service. I currently have the "Talk & Text w/5GB - Fin 24 Mo" plan for $45 a month. If I wanted to finance an iPhone 12, does my plan need to be a minimum amount? For example, Bell states to get an iPhone 12; one must have an $80 a month plan to get the financing option. I am curious if Rogers has a similar rule; if they do, I cannot find it on their website.

If that is the case, it would be far cheaper to buy the phone outright since it would cost me an extra $35 a month for two years, which would be $840 ($949.20 with tax).

Thanks!

I am guessing you are very likely to have to change to one of the Ignite Plans if you finance..in fact, I would be totally shocked if not.
