[Rogers] pls move repost

Didn't see this posted yet:

Rogers to offer unlimited data plans for $75 BYOD. 10GB cap, then slower speeds afterwards. Warm if you're heavy data user..

As per article, seems like phone financing will come soon after for these plans.

hopefully after the 10gb, the speed remained the same like older magna from what i recall

I read somewhere they said even during throttling you could stream videos... lol how do you stream videos at that speed ? In 240p maybe... Either way I think it's a step in the right direction. You can still surf the web at that speed, better than before..

This is slower than Edge, it's barely usable. You're essentially paying a lot in extra to not get charged for going over your monthly limit.

Yeah it's better than charging customers $100 per GB if they accidentally go over.

ha so i can technically cancel my home internet and use rogers sim to tether and share w gf and neighbours + anyone else who asks for wifi :)
