Does zedd offer 500u? I'd rather take that than the 1gb if I'm paying less

My last offer ($124.99 for gigabit, ignite TV, home phone) just ran out. Is Zedd now the guy to call about these things or is that just for new accounts and instead I have to go through the annual annoying rigamarole/dance with cancellations?

This thread never ceases to amuse and astonish me!

My friend negotiated yesterday with Rogers the 1.5G plan for 49.99 plus tax - 12 months. He was coming off the legacy $49.99 plus tax plan with his current plan expiring at the end of January.

New Customer. Looking to switch from MetroLoop to Rogers - Currently on a 250/250 Mbps plan. (Looking for Internet only)

I also played the cancellation game last week and called Zedd this morning. After waiting for 45 minutes I finally got through and they offered me the “new” Ignite 1gbps for $49.99 per month for 24 months. My Ignite 300u deal of $39.99 expired and since this is on the old white CODA modem, my switch will need to include a new modem shipped to me. There’s also a $39.99 activation fee that they agreed to credit.

During the account reactivation the Zedd rep said she would need 2 pieces of ID because that information is greyed out / wiped when a cancellation is processed by Rogers and the account is sent to them...
Your options for 2 pieces are limited and I went with drivers license and SIN

Looks like I'll be moving over to Bell, who ended up including Crave and International channels. The Zedd rep couldn't do anything to come close to that Bell package.
